Tassi
A binary system. The home world sits between two suns and is rarely out of their light — which is why rain on Tassi is rare, and torrential when it comes.

What the books say
- Two suns. The second is about half the size of the first and orbits it.
- The home world is so large it occupies nearly the whole habitable zone of the first sun, sandwiched between the two.
- Four further planets lie beyond the stars; one of them is habitable.
- An asteroid belt engulfs the entire system.
- Low gravity compared with Jark, and an architecture of crystal — Chancellor Ebb dines from crystal bowls made to bathe food in the light of the twin suns.
- The second sun throws a magnetic disturbance heavy enough to be used as a weapon in fleet actions.
